Known For : Peter Fonda is an American actor who began his career in the 60's , his father was the famous actor Henry Fonda and the brother of Jane Fonda. Although not a conventional leading man due to his long hair and non conformist ways in the late 60's he gained iconic status with teens around the world following his roles in The Wild Angels, The Trip and the classic Movie "Easy Rider" which he produced, co-wrote and starred in alongside Dennis Hopper. The worldwide success of the movie allowed him to pick and choose including The Hired Hand, "Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry", "Race With The Devil" and Wanda Nevada. But for those of us born in the 50's the movie we will always remember is "Easy Rider" and dreaming we could do the same if we were "Born To Be Wild".
